Sorry it’s been a few days since I posted.

We’ve been in London, and really enjoying family time and exploring the city. The boys love it here, really enjoy meeting their cousins, and seem to really like London.

I feel like I’m rediscovering it after so many years, and it is truly such a lovely city—amazing architecture, history, food, culture, and ethnic diversity. And it’s been amazing to catch up with family who I used to see more often when we were growing up.

It’s also been nice being reintroduced to the pleasures of the first world—2 ply toilet paper, brushing teeth using tap water, not being worried about ice in water at a restaurant, eating fresh salads and produce, even finding and cooking more familiar foods. I was getting a little homesick the last 2 weeks in Bali but definitely feels like home here. After all, I was born here!
