We are at the Phuket airport waiting for our flight. It was a curvy vomit inducing hour ride to get here from my hotel and my boys are acting like they are high on steroids, running and jumping all around the airport.
I’m looking forward to plunking down in one place now for at least a week. We are still considering a road trip to Chiang Rai to see temples, the golden triangle, and the Mekong river.
What I noticed about Phuket was that cannabis was everywhere. It was just legalized recently in Thailand and there are enough pop up shops to rival Portland or San Francisco.
It was nice to visit during low season as much of the time we had the hotel pool or restaurant to ourselves.
