We’ve settled in here and I considered extending our stay but Air Asia won’t let you change your itinerary less than 48 hours from travel. We haven’t done any tours or real touristy stuff but we have gone to the beach, played in the pool, and eaten lots of food. And slept—at least for the past 2 days…

It’s beautiful here. I don’t love the feel of resort towns, but at the same time, it’s been great to not have been the person who is cooking and cleaning. Great mom break. And I loved my 2 hours of babysitter the past 2 days so I could run on the beach and swim laps.

I can’t believe we’ve only been in Thailand for a little over one week. It feels like it’s been weeks. It’s a little intimidating to think we have 2 months left, but oh so much more to learn and grow.
